I learned that in conversations with other people with hearing loss you have to sometimes speak more loudly than you would if you were talking to your parents or friends.
To stop your hearing from getting worse you could turn the volume quieter instead of keeping it like full blast. For me I think if I get water in my ears that could get my ears a little loss I think.

Your comments are correct! I like your reminder that one way to stop your hearing from getting worse is to turn down the volume on your personal stereo. Well done!

Not to do drugs because certain chemicals and drugs can damage your hearing if taken over long periods of time.
Try not to get diseases because some diseases, such as measles, mumps, rubella (German measles) and meningitis, can cause loss of hearing.
Try not to get Injuries including perforation of the ear drum, fractured skull or large changes in air pressure (barotrauma).

Thanks for your entry! Your comments are correct. Certain chemicals, drugs, and diseases can cause hearing loss due to their effects on the inner ear physiology and structures. It is also true that the ear drum can be perforated due to a head injury or changes in air pressure, such as when diving. Well done.
